“John F. Kennedy: Cuban Missile Crisis Speech.” American Government. ABC Clio, n.d. Web. 14 Jan. 2011.
<__http://americangovernment.abc-clio.com/__‌Search/‌Display/‌210566?terms=jfk+cuban+missile+crisis>. This web article was a primary source of John F. Kennedy’s cuban missile crisis speech. The speaker was the President of the United States at the time, therefore his credentials are solid. The speech came from a credible database that connects the issues of the day with the foundations of the government. Kennedy addressed the nation with this speech when there was an evident threat to the country from the USSR. We will use this in our historical background section to show the time period we are in.

Kennedy, John Fitzgerald. Interview by Walter Cronkite. American Government. N.p., n.d. Web. 12 Jan. 2011.
<__http://americangovernment.abc-clio.com/__‌Search/‌Display/‌199992?terms=vietnam%2fkennedy>. This web article is a primary source, and the author is Walter Cronkite who was a CBS News anchor that interviewed John F. Kennedy on September 2, 1963. This is a credible database that connects the issues of the day with the foundations of the government. This article was a short quote from John F. Kennedy explaining that the people of Vietnam have to fight this war on their own. We will use this to explain that in our alternate reality, the Vietnam war would have ended sooner than it did if Kennedy was not assassinated.

Killoran, James, Stuart Zimmer, and Mark Jarrett, eds. Mastering the Ohio
Graduation Test in Social Studies. N.p.: Jarrett Publishing Company, n.d.
Print. This book is a secondary source that is credible because of the
author's previous works and because it was reviewed by several Ohio
educators. The authors of this book have also written at least 29 other
books, each of which credible sources. This book helps high school students
to prepare for the Ohio Graduation Test. We used it to give background
information to our event, and to acknowledge when China became a communist
country.
